Property Manager - North London
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 (DOE)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
An established and reputable North London estate agency is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their dynamic and professional team. The company is known for delivering exceptional service across residential sales and lettings, with a strong reputation for efficiency, attention to detail, and client care.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive, and confident individual with at least three years of experience in residential property management to take ownership of a diverse portfolio and further develop their career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Prepare and manage landlord statements, property budgets, and performance reports
  • Oversee marketing of vacant properties and assist with tenant onboarding
  • Handle referencing, credit checks, and tenancy agreements in line with legislation
  • Manage rent collection, arrears, and deposit returns
  • Maintain accurate records of communications, expenditure, and tenancy documentation
  • Ensure smooth end-of-tenancy processes, including checkouts and deposit reconciliations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential property management
  • Strong understanding of UK lettings legislation and compliance
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general property management software
  • Experience with Alto, Rentman, or Goodlord is advantageous but not essential
