Build to Rent (BTR) Business Development Manager
Location: Remote
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
OTE: £75,000 + Quarterly performance bonus
A leading PropTech provider is looking for a specialist Business Development Manager to take full ownership of their Build To Rent (BTR) market. The company delivers inspection, operations, and compliance technology to some of the biggest names in residential property - helping them streamline processes, improve reporting, and deliver exceptional experiences.
Despite strong traction across multiple verticals, BTR remains a massive, untapped opportunity. They're now seeking a dedicated expert who can elevate the company's presence and drive serious growth in this fast-expanding sector.

What You'll Be Doing
Drive New Business
- Lead all growth activity in the Build To Rent market
- Win new clients across operators, developers, and managing agents
- Tailor value-led sales conversations that resonate with senior BTR stakeholders
- Build and execute a dedicated sales strategy
- Act as the internal subject matter expert
- Feedback market intelligence to product, marketing, and leadership teams
- Hit the ground running with established BTR contacts
- Attend industry events, walking in already knowing the key players
- Represent the business at UK and international trade shows
- Fully remote role
- Occasional in-office sales meetings (a few days per year)
- Travel to events and exhibitions, including overseas where relevant
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience selling into the residential property or BTR sector
- A recognised name within BTR - someone who already knows the ecosystem
- A confident, credible networker who thrives at industry events
- Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager
- Experience in SaaS, PropTech, or property services (desirable but not essential)
