B2C Insurance Sales Manager
  
Location: Office-Based – East Midlands
Salary: £50,000
OTE: £75,000
  
A growing insurance business is looking for a driven and inspiring Sales Manager to lead a high-performing B2C sales team in the East Midlands.
  
Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, you’ll take responsibility for managing, developing, and motivating a team of up to 15 sales advisors, ensuring the team consistently exceeds targets while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

The Role
As B2C Insurance Sales Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day performance of the sales floor, ensuring the team operates with energy, accountability, and a clear focus on hitting targets.
  
You’ll play a key role in coaching and developing advisors, analysing sales performance, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing talent, and building a positive, results-focused culture.
  
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 15 sales advisors
  • Set clear SMART sales targets and drive the team to consistently achieve and exceed them
  • Create a motivated, high-performance team environment
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, 1:1s, and performance reviews
  • Identify and develop future team leaders within the sales function
Recruitment & Development
  • Recruit, onboard and train new sales team members
  • Provide ongoing coaching to improve sales performance and confidence
  • Build strong product knowledge and sales capability across the team
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure team compliance with insurer legislation and FCA regulatory standards
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and ensure appropriate coverage for tenants and landlords
  • Monitor call quality and sales processes to maintain regulatory standards
Performance & Strategy
  • Analyse sales performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Implement strategies to drive consistent sales growth
  • Present insights, performance updates, and recommendations to senior leadership
  
What We’re Looking For
  
Essential Experience
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing high-performing B2C sales teams
  • Background in insurance or FCA-regulated sales environments
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics, KPIs and performance management

  • Inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate teams
  • Strong coaching and development skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
