About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and professional Sales Negotiator to join our successful, market-leading self-employed partnership in Bath. You'll manage the complete sales journey from initial enquiry through to completion, conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and building lasting relationships with clients. What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring smooth transactions for all clients
  • Conduct property viewings across the local area, providing detailed information and answering client questions with confidence
  • Negotiate offers between buyers and vendors to secure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed on local property market trends, values, and legislative requirements affecting sales
  • Handle administrative tasks including maintaining client records, updating the CRM system, and managing correspondence
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive the overall success of the branch
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities and register buyers
What We're Looking For
Essential
  • Previous experience as a Sales Negotiator or in a similar property sales role
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients from all backgrounds
  • Strong negotiation skills with a confident, professional approach
  • Exceptional organisational ability to manage multiple properties and client enquiries simultaneously
  • Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for property and helping clients
  • Self-motivated and driven, able to work independently as well as part of a small team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Valid UK driving licence for conducting viewings across different locations
  • Professional demeanour and presentation at all times
Desirable
  • Strong local knowledge of the Bath property market
  • Experience working within an independent agency or partnership structure
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Professional property qualification (e.g., Propertymark Level 3 or equivalent)
Important Information
This is a self-employed partnership position, offering greater autonomy and earning potential compared to traditional employed roles. You'll need access to your own vehicle with appropriate business insurance for conducting property viewings.
