We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties in the Bracknell area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service to landlords and tenants, while maintaining legal compliance and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of tenancy and property management are handled efficiently.
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to resolve maintenance issues promptly and cost-effectively.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure reports are completed and followed up.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations, including gas safety, electrical checks, and deposit protection schemes.
- Coordinate tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and serve appropriate legal notices where required.
- Manage arrears and support rent collection processes.
- Maintain accurate records using property management software.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a residential property management role is essential.
- Knowledge of current lettings legislation and property compliance.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred) and access to own vehicle.
- ARLA qualification (desirable, but not essential - support for training may be provided).
