Job Title: Auction Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 basic + uncapped commission
Location: Southampton

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Auction Manager to lead our property auction division in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a growing department, drive revenue, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full end-to-end auction process, from instruction through to sale and completion.
  • Generate new instructions through networking, marketing campaigns, and business development.
  • Value and appraise properties for auction, providing expert advice to vendors.
  • Lead property viewings and open days, maximising buyer interest and bids.
  • Negotiate offers and ensure smooth progression of sales with solicitors, surveyors, and finance partners.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, maximising commission opportunities.
  • Oversee property marketing, both online and offline, to ensure maximum exposure.
  • Stay up to date with industry legislation, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members (where applicable).
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven track record in property sales, auctions, or estate agency 7+ Years.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management.
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple properties and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven.
  • Knowledge of auction law and processes (desirable but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence required.
