Property Accountant
Location: Hounslow - TW5 0AB (5-minute walk from Hounslow West station)
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
We are seeking a property accountant to join our dynamic estate agency team. You will manage and optimise financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and ensure legal compliance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Handle tax planning and returns
- Maintain financial records, including payroll and general ledger
- Conduct financial analysis and support strategic decisions
- Establish internal financial controls
- Support and coordinate external audits
- Oversee transactions with vendors and clients
- Stay compliant with tax and accounting regulations
- Offer financial guidance to the management team
Candidate Requirements:
- Accountancy qualification is essential (ACCA preferred)
- Real estate sector experience preferred
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- 30-minute commute to office required
- Must demonstrate reliability and teamwork
- Proven long-term employment history (3+ years)
- Confident and solutions-oriented
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Alternate Saturdays (2 per month)
