Learning & Development Trainer
Location: Office based in Derbyshire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

What You’ll Do
- Foster a culture of learning and development across the business.
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding programmes that bring our company values, policies, and products to life.
- Develop and deliver product and skills training both face-to-face and online.
- Work closely with department heads to design fit-for-purpose learning solutions that meet key objectives.
- Maintain accurate training records, including individual learning plans and progress tracking.
- Identify skills gaps and collaborate with leaders on career pathways and succession planning.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business to ensure learning initiatives are impactful and aligned with goals.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously refine programmes based on feedback and results.
- Facilitate probation reviews, annual appraisals, and refresher training.
- Collaborate closely with the wider People Team to ensure a cohesive approach to employee development.
- Support the rollout and optimisation of training modules for both internal teams and clients when needed.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning and development programmes.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning evaluation, and ROI measurement.
- Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and genuinely passionate about helping others grow.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (including Teams) and other digital learning tools.
- Previous experience in a similar L&D or training role.
- Be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values innovation and continuous improvement.
