Commercial & Residential Valuation Surveyor - Tiverton /Exeter
Basic Salary: £45,000 to £60,000, Experience Dependent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial & Residential Valuation Surveyor in our busy Devon Professional Services team. This is a full time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will be principally based in our Tiverton office, although there may be flexibility to work partly out of Exeter or our other Devon offices, along with the potential for some home working.
The role would suit a driven, QUALIFIED surveyor with at least 3-5 years PQE, who has a can-do attitude and a proven track record of developing business and contacts. It is a demanding but rewarding role, which will involve a wide range of Valuation work. Extensive experience in the formal valuation of residential and commercial property assets, for a variety of purposes, is essential. In addition, experience in the valuation of development sites and/or farms and land would be preferable but is not essential for the right candidate.
There will be scope for career progression and involvement in business development.

Some of the main duties include:
- Manage individual workload and cases
- Pitching/quoting for professional instructions
- Providing sound professional valuation advice and service to a variety of clients, including private individuals, banks, solicitors, pension funds and accountants
- Valuations for secured lending, CGT, Probate/IHT, SIPP's, matrimonial disputes, acquisitions and disposals, shared equity development appraisals, and other purposes
The successful candidate must have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Exceptional communication skills
- MRICS with minimum 3 years PQE (ideally 5+)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to seek and win business and develop contacts
- Clean driving license and own car
