HR Director (Part‑Time or Full-Time) - Senior Leadership Role
Salary: £60,000 per annum (pro rata if part time)
Location: Office‑Based, Luton. Further site in Croydon

We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded HR Director to lead our HR function and support a fast‑growing business. This is a hands‑on, senior role where you'll work closely with the Board, shape company culture, and deliver a full end‑to‑end HR service. Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercially focused, legally compliant HR advice
- Lead HR strategy, planning and reporting
- Oversee employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance cases
- Maintain HR documentation, contracts, policies and case files
- Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capability
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and HR inductions
- Lead training, development and CPD processes
- Oversee maternity, paternity, flexible working and wellbeing referrals
- Develop employee benefits and engagement initiatives
- Ensure GDPR compliance and accurate HR records
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion
- Coordinate apprenticeships and DBS checks
- Embed and optimise BrightHR (essential)
- CIPD Level 5-7
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Director or Senior HR Manager
- Strong integrity, confidentiality and resilience
- Hands‑on, proactive approach suited to a growing business
- Experience implementing or developing HR systems, especially BrightHR
- Passion for building a positive, compliant and high‑performing workforce
- Flexible part‑time working (3-5 days per week)
