Lettings Administrator 
Chichester 
Up to £28k

Purpose:
The role of the Lettings Administrator is to assist and support the work of the Lettings Department. This role involves being forward thinking, quick to respond with efficiency, organisation and transparent communication skills.
 
Key responsibilities:
This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the Lettings Administrator may be required to perform duties outside of this as operationally required and at the discretion of the Lettings Negotiator, Head of Lettings & Property Management and the Directors.
  • Manging the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests
  • Managing Letting Department correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters and packages
  • Organising meetings, scheduling appointments and viewings
  • Tenancy setup, applicant referencing, document management, utility coordination
  • Co-ordinating check-in and check-out appointments with tenants
  • Managing communication with applicants throughout the lettings process
  • Assisting with general maintenance of properties
  • Obtaining, monitoring and chasing utility meter readings
  • Organising and maintaining compliance for properties
  • Co-ordinating property inspection
  • Performing data entry roles, including updating records and databases for the Lettings Department
  • Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations
Person Specification - essential criteria:
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in filing and paper management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and confidential information
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping others.
