About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Sales Manager to lead a sales team at a well-established, award-winning independent estate agency in Clevedon. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the office, driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth operations. A core part of the role is supporting, motivating, and overseeing the team to ensure they perform effectively and professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Driving Growth
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed branch targets
  • Actively seek out new opportunities for valuations and listings to grow market share
  • Monitor competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
Team Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the branch sales team to optimise performance and productivity
  • Ensure all processes are being carried out effectively and that a high level of service is provided to all clients
  • Lead by example and handle high-pressure situations calmly
Listing & Selling
  • Conduct valuations, pitch for instructions, and negotiate sales through to completion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, applicants, and industry partners
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to completion
Marketing & Viewings
  • Oversee local marketing efforts and ensure properties are showcased to their best potential
  • Conduct professional viewings, demonstrating detailed knowledge of the property portfolio
  • Ensure properties are marketed effectively to maximise exposure and achieve optimal sale prices
Local Expertise
  • Stay informed of the local property market, industry trends, and legislative changes
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of property laws, regulations, and market trends in the UK
  • Use market knowledge to provide expert advice to clients and drive business growth
Day-to-Day Management
  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office
  • Ensure smooth operations, consistent performance, and the highest standards of service
  • Manage administrative processes and ensure compliance with all regulations
What We're Looking For
Essential
  • Proven experience in estate agency at a senior or management level
  • Strong track record of delivering high-quality service and achieving sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of property laws, regulations, and market trends in the UK
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and inspire high performance
  • Confident conducting valuations, pitching for instructions, and negotiating sales
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven by results, reputation, and client satisfaction
  • Highly organised, proactive, service-driven, and commercially minded
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally
  • Strong understanding of local property market and competitor activity
