Job description
A successful estate agency in Twyford is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to act as the number two within a busy, high-performing sales office. This is a hands-on role for someone who can balance day-to-day sales activity with team leadership, commercial thinking, and a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
The position will involve supporting the Branch Manager in driving the performance of the office, contributing to business growth, and helping to shape the overall direction of the branch. You'll lead from the front, managing your own pipeline, winning instructions, conducting valuations and viewings, and stepping in to manage the office when required.
You'll be confident working towards targets, coaching others, and maintaining high standards across both systems and service. You'll need strong negotiation skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to build lasting relationships with buyers, sellers, and local stakeholders. The role also requires a proactive approach to lead generation, prospecting, and networking within the community.
Success here is less about micromanagement and more about being a capable operator who can motivate others, influence outcomes, and make sound commercial decisions. You'll need good administrative and IT skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities at pace, and the professionalism to represent the branch and brand positively at all times. A driving licence is essential.
If you're an experienced negotiator or senior negotiator ready to step up, or an existing assistant manager wanting a new challenge, this could be an exciting next move with autonomy, visibility, and genuine room to progress. Apply today to find out more.
