About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Rural Valuer to join their Stamford team, leading and coordinating valuation work across the East Midlands. This is a senior position offering the opportunity to guide a talented team of valuers, oversee major projects, and manage your own valuation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake valuations for a range of purposes including loan security, tax, inheritance, and estate planning across rural, residential, and development sectors.
- Produce accurate, high-quality valuation reports.
- Manage valuation portals and ensure consistent delivery across the region.
- Provide leadership, professional guidance, and mentorship to valuers within the team.
- Build and nurture client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
You'll be a confident and professional RICS-qualified rural surveyor with proven experience in valuations and client management. You thrive in a dynamic environment, combining commercial awareness with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
Key Skills & Attributes
- RICS-qualified Rural Surveyor (Registered Valuer essential; FAAV desirable).
- Strong background in agricultural and rural residential valuations.
- Analytical, entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial judgement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Confident leader and team player, with the ability to coach and develop others.
- Tech-savvy, proficient in Word, Excel, and mapping software.
- Flexible approach, able to work across multiple office locations.
- RICS (with significant PQE).
- RICS Registered Valuer.
- FAAV qualification advantageous.
- Regional experience across multi-office environments preferred.
