A long-established and respected independent agency, is seeking a driven and experienced Lettings Manager to lead and grow its successful lettings division.
The Role:
As Lettings Manager, you will take full ownership of the lettings department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, outstanding client service, and continued business growth. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong leadership qualities, deep local knowledge, and a passion for property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the lettings process from valuation to move-in
- Conduct market appraisals and win new instructions
- Manage and motivate a small team to hit individual and branch targets
- Ensure compliance with lettings legislation and company standards
- Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Drive marketing and business development to expand the portfolio
- Prepare regular performance reports and updates for senior management
- Proven experience in a senior lettings role (Valuer, Assistant Manager or above)
- In-depth knowledge of current lettings legislation and best practice
- ARLA/Propertymark qualification
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Confident in winning new business and growing landlord relationships
- Professional, self-motivated, and able to lead by example
