Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll oversee a team of credit controllers, lead on complex queries, and play an integral part in improving collection performance and maintaining strong client relationships.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll oversee a team of credit controllers, lead on complex queries, and play an integral part in improving collection performance and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small team of credit controllers to meet collection targets
- Oversee and improve aged debt performance
- Review and manage customer credit limits and payment terms
- Handle escalated queries and resolve payment disputes professionally
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes
- Produce and present regular debtor reports to management
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Drive continuous improvement across the credit control function
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit control, including team leadership
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical ability with attention to detail
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, or Oracle
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
- CICM qualification (or currently studying) is preferred
