Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a thriving lettings business in Weston-super-Mare. With strong market demand and continued growth, this is the perfect role for someone ready to take the next step in their property career and truly make their mark across North Somerset.
This role suits a confident operator who’s comfortable handling valuations, negotiating with landlords, and driving business growth. You’ll be leading from the front – securing new instructions, mentoring others, and influencing strategy alongside senior leadership.
You’ll be carrying out accurate rental valuations, converting viewings into offers, and building strong relationships with landlords and investors. You’ll take ownership of business development initiatives across the region while helping to guide and develop a high-performing team. Your input will directly shape the success of the branch, from implementing customer experience improvements to ensuring compliance with lettings legislation.
To hit the ground running, you’ll need at least a year of hands-on experience with valuations, viewings, and landlord instructions. You should be organised, articulate, and genuinely passionate about property. This isn’t a passive role – we’re after someone who thrives on targets, enjoys building long-term relationships, and is confident managing both people and process.
In return, you can expect a basic salary of £30,000 and a realistic OTE of £35k+ thanks to uncapped pooled commission. You’ll get 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with long service, as well as access to funded industry qualifications, a range of lifestyle discounts, and regular social events. And here’s the kicker – no weekends.
If you’re ready to take ownership of your patch, lead from the front, and grow with a business that’s going places, then let’s talk.
