Business Development Manager/Account executive - Property Sector  
 
Basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
On target earnings circa £65,000+ plus commission

An ambitious and growing business operating in the property sector is looking to appoint a commercially minded Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.

This is not a corporate sales role with layers of structure and large support teams. It’s a genuine start-up environment where people roll their sleeves up, move quickly and wear a number of hats to get things done.

The business helps property professionals manage repairs, maintenance coordination and tenant communication through one central system, simplifying processes that are traditionally time consuming and fragmented.
This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys building something rather than simply maintaining it.

The role
Your primary focus will be generating new business and expanding the customer base across the property sector.
You will identify and engage with property managers, letting agents, landlords and other property operators, introducing the platform and demonstrating how it can help them run their businesses more efficiently.
This is a hands-on role where success comes from consistently building pipeline and creating opportunities. You will be responsible for opening conversations, qualifying prospects, running demonstrations and converting interest into new client relationships.
You will manage opportunities from first contact through to agreement, working closely with the founders to shape how the sales process develops as the company grows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building things from the ground up rather than stepping into a fully structured corporate sales machine.

The person
We are looking for someone who enjoys winning new business and building relationships with decision makers.
You will be comfortable prospecting, opening conversations and developing opportunities through consistent outreach and follow up.
Important is the ability to understand a client’s operational challenges and position a solution that genuinely improves how they work. 
You will be self-motivated, commercially aware and comfortable working in a growing business where priorities evolve and everyone contributes beyond their job title.
