Auctions Manager - Devon & South West
Key Points:
  • £70,000+ OTE
  • No weekends required
  • Two weeks off at Christmas

Location: Remote (Devon-based) with 1 day per week in Dorset office
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auctions Manager to lead and expand our property auction business across Devon and the South West. This is a remote role, requiring a strong self-starter with a proven track record in property and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow the auctions business in Devon and the South West, identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with property owners, agents, and investors to drive auction listings.
  • Manage the full auction process from instruction to completion, ensuring compliance and exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with the Dorset office team one day per week, sharing market insights and supporting operational goals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the property sector, with a strong background in auctions or property sales.
  • Based in Devon with in-depth local market knowledge.
  • Demonstrable success in business development and client acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel across the South West and attend the Dorset office weekly.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven approach.
Desirable:
  • Existing network within the Devon and South West property market.
  • Experience with digital auction platforms and modern marketing techniques.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, NAVA, or similar) are an advantage.
