We are on the search for a Property Manager for one of the areas leading and growing independent estate agents.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong work ethic to join their flagship office in Colchester. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, a strong customer service focus, and ultimately a positive upbeat attitude.
The Property Manager will be responsible for assisting our Senior Property Manager with our existing and growing portfolio of properties, learning the dynamics of deposits, rental arrears and handling maintenance which is reported to us by our tenants. This role will also involve providing support to the agency’s Lettings Manager and Lettings Negotiator, helping them to market and promote properties.

Responsibilities:
- Record reported maintenance.
- Build and maintain relationships with our contractors.
- Book routine property inspections.
- Follow up with tenants to ensure they are informed of the progress of their reported maintenance.
- Provide updates to landlords on maintenance issues.
- Maintain effective communication with all clients, colleagues, and other partners
- Keep up to date with the local property market.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Provide support to other team members as required.
- A "can do" and positive attitude.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- 1+ years of lettings or property management experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
