An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join a high-performing lettings team, operating across North Bristol and South Gloucestershire. You will play a key role in securing new landlord business, increasing portfolio size and strengthening market presence. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate rental valuations and convert opportunities into new instructions
- Grow managed and let-only portfolios through proactive lead follow-up and prospecting
- Build long-term relationships with landlords and investors
- Manage negotiations, offers and ongoing communication professionally
- Take ownership of local development activity to support market expansion
- Contribute to performance planning and operational strategy
- Ensure compliance with processes, legislation and service standards
- Maintain high levels of customer experience across all interactions
- Meet and exceed performance targets and departmental KPIs
You will thrive in this role if you are:
- Driven, confident and motivated by generating new business
- Experienced in valuations, negotiations and instruction conversion
- Commercially aware and strategic in identifying opportunities
- Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
- Able to influence, advise and communicate confidently with clients
- A strong relationship builder with a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Knowledgeable on lettings compliance and legislation, or keen to develop expertise
