An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join a high-performing lettings team, operating across North Bristol and South Gloucestershire. About the Role
You will play a key role in securing new landlord business, increasing portfolio size and strengthening market presence. This role combines field-based activity with structured relationship management, valuations, and growth planning. You will influence ongoing business development strategy and support performance within your allocated area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct accurate rental valuations and convert opportunities into new instructions
  • Grow managed and let-only portfolios through proactive lead follow-up and prospecting
  • Build long-term relationships with landlords and investors
  • Manage negotiations, offers and ongoing communication professionally
  • Take ownership of local development activity to support market expansion
  • Contribute to performance planning and operational strategy
  • Ensure compliance with processes, legislation and service standards
  • Maintain high levels of customer experience across all interactions
  • Meet and exceed performance targets and departmental KPIs
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Experienced in valuations, negotiations and instruction conversion
  • Commercially aware and strategic in identifying opportunities
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
  • Able to influence, advise and communicate confidently with clients
  • A strong relationship builder with a customer-focused approach
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledgeable on lettings compliance and legislation, or keen to develop expertise
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - 8.45am to 6.00pm
No weekend working
