Our client is a well established and respected company and they require an Insurance Handler for their Gravesend office. Working with the Property sector, they are forward thinking, and progressive. They are looking for an articulate and intelligent Insurance Handler, to progress with them.
The Role will include;
- Logging of insurance claims in accordance with AR status procedures
- New policy quotes and policy inceptions
- Deal with cancellations of cover due to sales/ lapses
- Processing midterm adjustments
- Check accuracy of cover
- Insurance renewals
- Maintaining client list and third party client list, to ensure all information is up to date
- Supply information to clients/ property managers on D&O insurance and why it is required
- Ensuring compliance with FCA requirements
- Undertake relevant training in accordance with CPD requirements
- Process accounts payments and update ledger
- General administration
The Person
- Proven track record in property insurance
- Cert CII qualified would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Good concentration and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, methodical and organised
- Able to prioritise and multi-task
- Proactive and able to take responsibility for own work
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
