Job description
An excellent opportunity has come up for an experienced Estate Agency Director to take full leadership of a high-performing residential sales operation in Cirencester.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being right at the sharp end. You'll take ownership of the sales team, set the commercial agenda and be accountable for both personal and office performance. That means driving instructions, converting opportunities, forecasting fees accurately and keeping a tight grip on KPIs, budgets and deal progression, including compliance and KYC.
You'll play a central role in business planning, shaping strategy at a local and regional level, and introducing initiatives that genuinely move the needle on revenue and profitability. Client relationships matter here. You'll be expected to nurture existing connections, develop new business proactively, spot cross-selling opportunities and ensure service levels never slip. A strong pipeline doesn't happen by accident, so you'll be visible in the market, well networked and commercially curious.
People leadership is a big part of the brief. You'll motivate, coach and mentor the team, set clear objectives and create a culture that's focused, ambitious and professional. This is about leading from the front, communicating a clear vision, delegating effectively and developing talent so the whole office performs at its best. Keeping on top of market trends and sharing insight with the wider business will also be part of your day-to-day.
To succeed, you'll need solid experience leading a residential sales team, a strong personal drive and a track record of hitting and exceeding targets. You'll be comfortable operating strategically while still rolling your sleeves up when needed. You'll be well connected, influential in your market and trusted to handle confidential matters with discretion. Experience coaching others and working under pressure will come naturally to you.
