Job Title: Head of Mortgage Administration.
 
Basic: Employed Full Time, Working Monday to Friday, 9am -6pm.
 
Location: Office based in Norwich.
 
Rewards: £28K-£30K, DOE + Usual Benefits.
 
Our client who are one of the UK's leading Mortgage Brokerages are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Mortgage Administration Manager to join their busy team.
They will undertake management and administrative tasks with a team of 4 administrators reporting into them, ensuring administrators have adequate support to work efficiently within the admin team function they will report into the Business Operations Manager.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 4 Administrators.
  • Assist the team with telephone calls to lenders, solicitors, insurance providers and GPs to obtain case updates as required.
  • Keep internal records updated.
  • Handle queries from Mortgage Advisors / Estate agents and Managing Directors.
  • Additional duties in busier periods, including producing marketing materials to send externally to referrers.
  • Assisting with keying mortgages up until submission of the application.
  • Allocating referrals to Mortgage Advisors and liaising with Estate Agents.
  • Providing weekly updates to Estate agents. Assisting the Managing Directors with ad-hoc duties as required. 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous Mortgage Administration experience desirable.
  • Previous experience managing/supervising a team of administrators
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Competent user of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Highly Organised.
  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
