Job description

There are job titles that sound grand but don't always deliver the substance behind them. This isn't one of those, the reality is that this is the clear number two role within a successful Oxford office, working directly alongside the Office Director and playing a central role in driving the performance of the residential sales business.

This position would suit an experienced estate agency professional who already operates comfortably in the upper end of the Oxford market and has a track record of winning and selling quality property across the city. You will take the lead on residential sales across the Oxford patch, building strong client relationships, securing new instructions and ensuring transactions are handled professionally from first meeting through to completion.

The successful individual will be someone who knows the Oxford market well, understands how to win business in a competitive environment and enjoys operating in a role where personal reputation, market knowledge and strong relationships make all the difference.

You will be responsible for generating revenue through the successful sale of residential property, securing new instructions through proactive client engagement, meeting vendors to provide tailored advice on marketing and pricing strategies, and ensuring sales are progressed efficiently through to completion while maintaining excellent communication with clients, solicitors and other parties involved.

Alongside your personal sales performance, you will also support the Office Director in driving the wider success of the branch. This includes contributing to business development activity across the patch, maintaining strong networks within the local property community and helping to ensure the office continues to grow both revenue and market share.

To be considered for the role, you will need a proven track record of winning instructions and delivering results within the Oxford residential market, strong local knowledge of Oxford and the surrounding areas, and a solid understanding of the regulatory requirements surrounding residential transactions including AML and KYC procedures. A full driving licence is essential.

The package reflects the seniority of the role. The basic salary is available up to £60,000, alongside a £6,000 car allowance and a generous bonus structure, offering strong overall earning potential for someone who performs.
In addition, the business offers a comprehensive benefits package.

If you are an experienced estate agency professional operating in the Oxford market and looking for a senior role with genuine influence, strong earning potential and the opportunity to work closely with a successful Office Director, I would be very interested in hearing from you.
