**Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager**

**Location: Banstead/Sutton/Cheam **

**Company: Independent Estate Agent**

**Salary: OTE £40,000 - £50,000**

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Estate Agency who is looking to step into a leadership role, equally it would suit an experienced Assistant Manager who wants to be in an environment where career development is key as this independent agency is on the expansion path.  

Job Overview:

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the agency. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office, while also taking on responsibilities for client relations, business development, and sales support. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Estate Agency who is looking to step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Management:
    • Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
    • Handle client enquiries, providing accurate and timely information.
    • Conduct property viewings and negotiations, supporting clients throughout the buying  and sales process.
    • Conduct property appraisals, ensuring a consistent pipeline of instructions.
  2. Sales & Marketing Support:
    • Support the Branch Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve branch targets.
    • Assist with marketing initiatives, including property listings, social media updates, and promotional events.
    • Monitor local market trends and provide insights to improve sales performance.
  3. Office Administration:
    • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
    • Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to improve their performance.  
  4. Leadership & Development:
    • Act as a deputy to the Branch Manager, stepping in during their absence to manage the team and operations.
    • Participate in team meetings, offering input on strategies and improvements.
    • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in Estate Agency.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the local property market, with a solid grasp of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
  • Technology: Proficient in using property management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
