Position: Student Lettings Property Manager
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £25,500 - £26,000
 
Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays during peak periods)
 
An exciting opportunity awaits to join a well-established and progressive company specialising in the property industry. We are seeking a motivated individual with keen attention to detail and excellent customer service skills to fill the role of Student Lettings Property Manager.
  

The Role 

 
As a Student Lettings Manager you will work in a demanding environment which has large peaks and troughs throughout the year. You will be working as part of a Student Lettings team and it is crucial to be a team player with the ability to work and deal with people from all walks of life but typically students and their parents, clients and contractors with which you will need to build a professional relationship. You will undertake viewings with potential tenants sometimes on a block booking basis and perform check in’s and check outs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring an exceptional student experience, prioritising safety and welfare.
  • Conducting site visits to assess repairs and maintenance, ensuring satisfactory completion of work.
  • Coordinating maintenance orders with approved contractors.
  • Managing the check-in, check-out, and room turnaround process.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with tenants, contractors, and landlords.
  • Handling escalated customer-related issues and providing emergency support.
  • Addressing complaints professionally and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the property industry, particularly in student or residential lettings, is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure.
  • Own Car
  • Legal right to work in the UK
