Lettings Negotiator - Southampton (3 Years' Experience) �� Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join our Southampton branch. With at least three years in residential lettings, you'll bring strong local market knowledge, excellent client‑facing skills, and the confidence to manage the full lettings process from valuation to move‑in. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a target‑driven environment and enjoys building long‑term relationships with landlords and tenants.
�� Key Responsibilities
  • Manage enquiries, conduct viewings, and progress lets through to completion
  • Carry out accurate rental valuations and advise landlords on market conditions
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach and networking
  • Negotiate offers to secure successful tenancies
  • Ensure compliance with lettings legislation, including Right to Rent and tenancy documentation
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM and lettings software
  • Support tenancy renewals, inspections, and general property management tasks
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to strengthen the branch's reputation
�� Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in residential lettings
  • Strong understanding of the Southampton rental market
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding lettings targets
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Full UK driving licence
�� Desirable Attributes
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Experience using lettings CRM 
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach to business generation
�� Salary & Benefits
  • Basic salary: £25,000 - £30,000
  • On‑target earnings: £45,000
