Job description

Property Lawyer / Conveyancer

Location: Cambridgeshire (hybrid working available)
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 basic (DOE) + Monthly Bonus

Role Overview

This opportunity has arisen with a highly modern, innovative, and progressive conveyancing business that has been built specifically to challenge traditional industry norms. At a time where service standards across the sector have declined, this firm has positioned itself at the forefront of a new generation of conveyancing — combining expert lawyers, smart technology, and a genuinely client-focused approach.

The business has been on an exciting and ambitious growth journey, driven by increasing demand for its market-leading service. To support this continued expansion, the firm has been seeking to attract the very best conveyancing talent to join its growing team and play a key role in shaping its future.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, operating within a forward-thinking, quality-driven environment. Lawyers are supported by a fully integrated case management system, strict capacity controls, and a culture that empowers them to focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes rather than chasing volume.

This role is offering a huge opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team, within a business that actively invests in its people and embraces innovation to improve both client experience and work-life balance.

Candidate Profile

Our client is keen to speak with candidates who demonstrate the following...
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in residential conveyancing
  • A conveyancing qualification (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX) — advantageous but not essential
  • A strong track record of outstanding client service
  • Commercial awareness and pride in the quality of their work
  • A positive mindset, approachability, and the ability to smile, even in a fast-paced environment
Package & Benefits

The business is offering a highly competitive and well-rounded package, including:
  • Basic salary of £35,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
  • Monthly bonus scheme, rewarding performance and contribution
  • Remote working, fully supported by systems and management
  • Fully integrated, modern case management technology
  • Strict capacity management, ensuring sustainable workloads
  • Comprehensive holiday cover
  • Private medical insurance
  • A positive, inclusive, and supportive culture where lawyers are recognised as the firm's most valuable asset
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This role will be ideal for an ambitious conveyancer who wants to be part of a progressive business on a genuine growth journey — a firm that values excellence, innovation, and its people in equal measure, and that is committed to building something exceptional for the long term.
