Our client is looking for a loans consultant / salesperson to help with the loan enquires they are receiving.  These are high quality with an excellent enquiry to conversion ratio..
 
This is office based in Peterborough.  They require 2 years or more experience in this market with a proven track record.
 
Basic salary up to £34,000 with OTE in year one of £45k to £60K but the commissions element is uncapped.
 
This is a small team with the opportunity to grow as the team is building.
 
What Good Looks Like

• Activity: High call/email cadence, same-day follow-ups.
• Quality: Clear, compliant advice and documentation; low reworks.
• Results: Strong conversion rates from lead → DIP → pay-out; consistent monthly revenue.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 2+ years' recent success in SME loan sales
• Proven track record of meeting/ exceeding revenue and conversion KPIs.
• Strong consultative sales skills: discovery, structuring, objection handling, and closing.
• Working knowledge of underwriting, affordability, credit profiles, and lender criteria.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and CRM discipline.
• Compliance-minded with up-to-date understanding of FCA rules/Consumer Duty.
• Desirable: CeMAP or equivalent; experience with multiple lenders/fintech panels.
