Job description

As the Head of Sales for this well-known Estate Agency brand across Harrogate/Knaresborough and Wetherby, you will be responsible for building and overseeing the sales side of the business. Your primary focus will be winning new business, through face to face valuations with clients and driving growth within the areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in lead generation. In addition to identifying opportunities to bring in other experienced estate agents, that you will coach, develop and oversee, to maximise the business potential. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional client relationships and continuing the great reputation. This role is based in Harrogate/Knaresborough and Wetherby and requires a deep understanding of the local property market.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Growth: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to attract and win new business and grow market share. 
  2. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including property buyers and sellers, to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. Provide an outstanding service from start to finish.
  3. Lead Generation: To increase the volume of leads through different channels such as social media, canvassing etc.
  4. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and economic factors affecting the property market in the local area.
  5. Team Leadership (when the team is in place): Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to perform at their best, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  6. Recruitment: Identify and recruit top sales talent to strengthen the team and contribute to the company's growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the estate agency sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the property market, regulations, and trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NAEA or ARLA) are a plus.

Expected earnings in excess of £70,000p.a.
