Salary: £33K DOE
Our client is seeking an extremely personable, motivated & organised LETTINGS ADMINISTRATOR, to join their successful team in BRIXTON.
Our client, a successful estate agency in SW London is looking for a LETTINGS ADMINISTRATOR for their busy and growing Lettings office. Enthusiasm and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. The candidate will need to work on all elements of the lettings process, supporting the team in the smooth running of the office. Attention to detail and working to a deadline is part of the daily routine and key to the success of the role. Lettings Administration experience is essential.

Duties Include: 

  • Overseeing the move in administration for tenancies company wide.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all tenancies move in smoothly taking care of the process from the point of an offer having been tied.
  • Drawing up all contracts. guarantor agreements, standing orders and ensures all other aspects of each file has been concluded in a timely manner to ensure all legislative requirements are met.
  • Resolve queries raised by landlords and tenants in relation to the tenancy and file progression.
  • The role includes Co-ordination of multiple parties including various contractors to carry out necessary works and safety inspections to prepare for each tenancy.
  • The successful candidate will control reference acquisition through a third party reference company in a timely fashion as well as ensure all finances and move in funds are received.
  • To meet with and explain the move in process to Tenants prior to move in. To arrange pre tenancy works which are conditional with the offer. To support the Negotiators and Manager in their roles.
Essential Skills:
  • Ideally someone with 1/2 years experience in lettings admin or admin.
  • Able to multi-task successfully + the ability to prioritise their workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work autonomously with support and guidance from senior management
  • Solution oriented + Proactive + Dynamic + Confident
  • Enjoy working within a team
  • Willing to assist colleagues outside the parameters of their role, where necessary
  • Knowledge of CFP and/or ALTO would be a bonus, though intermediate knowledge of other office software is mandatory
