Tenancy Manager/Property Manager
Location : Potters Bar
Salary : £30,000 OTE - £32,000 OTE
Hours : Monday - Friday - 8:45am - 6:00pm
About the Role:
We are seeking an organised, proactive and customer focused Tenancy Manager/Property Manager to join a busy lettings team. This is a varied role responsible for overseeing the tenancy process from move in, to the move out, whilst managing a portfolio of residential properties and delivering excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise a busy workload and confident in building relationships with tenants, landlords and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
Tenancy Management
- Manage the tenancy process from offer agreed through other move in
- Prepare and issue tenancy agreements and supporting documentation
- Ensure all legal compliance are met before the commencement of tenancies
- Coordinate referencing, Right to Rent checks, deposits and move-in appointments
- Register tenancy deposits within the tenancy timescales
- Handle tenancy renewals, rent reviews and and contract extensions
- Manage tenancy changes, notices and move out procedures
- Liase with landlords and tenants to resolve tenancy-related queries
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties
- Coordinate maintenance and repair works with approved contractors
- Obtain quotations and ensure works are completed efficiently and within budget
- Arrange/conduct routine property inspections and follow up on any required actions
- Deal with maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
- Monitor contractor performance maintain strong working relationships
- Assist with deposit negotiations and end-of-tenancy matters
- Maintain accurate property records and update all CRM systems
Essential
- Previous experience in tenancy management, property management, or residential lettings
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM/Property management software
- Full UK and driving licence and access to a vehicle
- ARLA propertymark qualification
- Knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience using property management software
