Senior Self-Employed Mortgage Broker
Location: Hybrid - Weekly commute to Marlow (1 day)
Client: A rapidly growing, independent mortgage brokerage
Salary: £50k - (Year 1), £75k (Year 2), £100k+ (Year 3)

Our client is an expanding whole-of-market mortgage brokerage with a strong presence across
Berkshire and the surrounding regions. The business has built a reputation for simplifying the
mortgage process and delivering a high-quality advisory experience to a wide range of clients.
The organisation is in a period of strong growth, supported by strategic partnerships and
community-based initiatives, including work within specialist sectors (i.e Sports ,EFL Football
Clubs). They are now ready to bring on an ambitious senior broker who can not only advise but
also build and lead a team.


Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Self-Employed Mortgage Broker who wants the autonomy
of self-employment, combined with the infrastructure, support, and opportunity to build a team
beneath them.


This role offers the foundation to step into a leadership trajectory, with support from an
established broker network, existing systems, and an active lead flow.
You will join a small cohort of four brokers already operating under this model, with the flexibility
to grow your own team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert mortgage advice across the full market, with particular focus on
self-employed clients and complex income scenarios.
- Build, develop, and manage a team of brokers, supported by the client's existing
operational structure.
- Leverage introducer relationships and established partnerships to grow your client base.
- Manage your own caseload independently while offering oversight to junior brokers.
- Attend the Marlow office once per week for collaboration, meetings, and leadership
duties.
- Maintain high standards of compliance in line with network and regulatory expectations.


What You'll Have
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a mortgage advisor, ideally within a self-employed
model.
- A stable employment track record (no frequent role changes).
- Strong technical understanding of self-employed lending criteria and income
assessments.
- Confidence and ambition to grow and lead a team under an established brand.
- Excellent communicator with strong client-care skills.
- Ability to travel to Marlow
