Overview
We're recruiting a driven Senior Sales Negotiator to join a busy residential sales team in Portsmouth. This is a great role for someone who can manage the sales process end-to-end, build strong client relationships, and consistently hit targets in a fast-paced branch environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Register, qualify and manage buyers; match applicants to available stock
- Conduct viewings and follow up professionally to drive offers
- Negotiate offers between buyers and vendors to maximise price and progression
- Manage the sales pipeline from offer agreed through to exchange/completion, reducing fall-throughs
- Generate new business through proactive calls, referrals and local networking
- Book and support valuations/appraisals (and carry out valuations if experienced/required)
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and activity levels; report on pipeline and performance
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle queries/escalations confidently
- Work closely with mortgage/financial services and conveyancing partners to support conversion
- Proven experience as a Sales Negotiator / Senior Sales Negotiator within residential estate agency
- Strong track record of hitting targets (offers, sales agreed, exchanges/completions)
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Highly organised with good pipeline management
- Professional, customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Valuation experience / ability to win instructions
- NAEA qualification (helpful, not essential)
- Up to £50k OTE with a clear commission structure
- Strong stock levels/lead flow (depending on business)
- Supportive team environment with progression opportunities
