What does this role specifically involve?
As a Protection Advisor you are expected to provide expert guidance on various insurance products designed to safeguard clients against life’s uncertainties. This role involves understanding clients' individual needs and circumstances to recommend suitable policies, such as life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection. Advisors must stay informed about the latest products, industry regulations, and financial trends to offer accurate and up-to-date advice. They are responsible for explaining complex insurance terms in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring clients understand the coverage options and benefits. Additionally, protection insurance advisors must manage client relationships with professionalism and empathy, providing ongoing support and reviews to adapt coverage as clients’ needs evolve. Ethical conduct, compliance with regulatory standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service are paramount in this role.
