Property Manager
Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Monday-Friday | 9am-6pm | Office based | SE6
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive and personable Property Manager to join our team in SE6.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a good grounding in estate agency who enjoys working with landlords, tenants and contractors, solving problems and making sure properties are managed efficiently and professionally.
You'll play an important role in the day-to-day management of a portfolio, taking ownership of maintenance, compliance, inspections, rent collection and landlord and tenant support.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and personable Property Manager to join our team in SE6.

You'll play an important role in the day-to-day management of a portfolio, taking ownership of maintenance, compliance, inspections, rent collection and landlord and tenant support.
What you'll be doing
- Managing maintenance and repair requests from landlords and tenants
- Organising, instructing and monitoring contractors and repair works
- Dealing with contractors and processing payments
- Ensuring property certification is fully up to date, including gas, electrical and EPC requirements
- Scheduling, ordering and processing mid-term inspections
- Keeping the CRM and property records accurate and up to date
- Monitoring rent payments, processing rent and proactively chasing arrears
- Providing excellent day-to-day support to landlords and tenants
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries as part of the wider team
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high level of service
- Staying up to date with the Renters' Reform Act and other key property legislation
We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.
You'll ideally have:
- Good experience within estate agency, ideally with property management experience
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A proactive, friendly and professional communication style
- The confidence to communicate and negotiate with landlords, tenants and contractors
- A natural ability to build positive relationships with different types of people
- A patient, positive and practical approach to problem-solving
- The ability to remain calm and unstressed when dealing with challenging situations
- A genuine team-player mentality
- Good IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Knowledge of the Renters' Reform Act and other key property legislation
- A manageable commute to SE6
- £28,000-£30,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm with a 1-hour lunch
- Office-based role
- No car or driving licence required
