Auction Business Development Manager - Colchester
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £40,000 Basic + Commission
OTE: Excellent earning potential
 
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Auction Business Development Manager to develop and grow property auction business across Colchester and the surrounding North Essex market.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estate agency, auction or property professional who knows how to build relationships, generate opportunities and turn conversations into instructions.
 
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of business development within your territory, creating relationships with estate agents, property professionals, landlords, investors and other introducers who can generate auction opportunities.
The role will involve:

• Growing auction instructions throughout Colchester and North Essex
• Developing relationships with estate agency branches and property professionals
• Proactively identifying new business opportunities
• Winning new property instructions
• Building a strong network of introducers and referral partners
• Developing existing accounts to increase instruction levels
• Meeting vendors and providing advice around the auction process
• Creating and managing a strong pipeline of new business
• Networking within the local property community
• Working closely with internal auction and sales teams
• Delivering against agreed business development and revenue targets

Who We're Looking For
You'll be a confident property professional who is comfortable developing business and building relationships from the ground up.
Experience could come from roles including:
Business Development Manager | Property Valuer | Lister | Branch Manager | Area Manager | Auction Specialist | Estate Agency Manager
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience within estate agency, property auctions or property-related business development
• A strong understanding of the Colchester/North Essex property market
• Experience winning instructions or generating new business
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
• A commercial and target-driven mindset
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work autonomously and manage a territory
• A full UK driving licence

Package

• £40,000 basic salary
