Business Development Executive
Location: Home-based (occasional travel to Leicester Head Office)
Salary: £35,000 basic + commission (circa £50,000 OTE)
Rayner Personnel are recruiting a Business Development Executive to support the continued growth of our clients recruitment function. This is a newly created, home-based role focused on outbound calling and appointment setting with Mortgage and Protection firms across the UK.
You’ll play a key role in generating high-quality first appointments for our Recruitment Sales team by confidently introducing the clients proposition to prospective broker partners.
The role
• Outbound calling to Financial Services firms, primarily Mortgage and Protection brokers
• Introducing and clearly explaining the proposition
• Booking qualified first appointments into the Recruitment team’s diaries
• Building rapport and confidently handling objections
• Working towards and exceeding call and appointment-based targets
• Sending follow-up marketing material where appropriate
• Accurately logging activity and outcomes on the CRM system
What we’re looking for
• Proven outbound telephone sales or telemarketing experience
• Confident, clear communicator with strong rapport-building skills
• Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
• Comfortable working independently in a home-based role
