Spend time in the moment and challenge your perceptions of your job.  Think about individual tasks rather than ignoring things that have become routine.  There is always something new to learn in any job, new technology, new demographics, new team mates.  Rise to these challenges and channel how you felt that first day at your job, where you mind was open and receptive.

Recognise what upsets you and which areas you particularly hate.  What areas do you love, speak to your Manager and see if you can do more of what inspires you.

You could take a personality test like Myers Briggs to ensure that your job is meeting your natural talents.  Think carefully about your yours and your company’s goals and try to reset them with your personal values.  It could help renew your passions for what you do.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.  Steve Jobs
