A family run Independent Property Management company founded 17 years ago is seeking a highly organised and resilient Maintenance Co Ordinator/Property Management to join their busy team in Mile End.
This company specialise in the provision of long term temporary and permanent accommodation solutions to local authorities, housing associations and private residential tenants.
Primary function: Property Management duties including property maintenance, taking calls from tenants, contractors, organising engineer visits, liaising with in-house property engineer/maintenance staff. Raising job tickets, tracking until completion. Other office/clerical duties.
Answer incoming enquiries from our customers
Ensure properties are fully compliant with EPC, Gas safe, EICR, PAT, LRA and buildings insurance requirements and ensure there is a clear audit trail. Dealing with property license issues.
Liaise regularly with clients and customers to ensure positive working relationships are embedded within the team
Identify and recharge costs to landlords, tenants and local authorities where required
Run and monitor daily progress reports, ensuring these are updated and the details are logged on the internal IT systems
Collating and qualifying invoices from suppliers and ensuring accounting procedure is followed on a daily basis.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with contractors and local authorities
Other tasks set by Directors.
Training will be provided.
6 Months - 1 year experience preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Work, Well organised, good communication skills, Confident, Professional, Responsible and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Driving license preferable but not necessary
